Raya Shop is the first and largest e-commerce website in Egypt dedicated to consumer electronics — a sub-brand of Raya Trade, Egypt's top electronics retailer and distributor. Despite having a solid commercial foundation, their platform had become a liability. The website depended on an excessive number of third-party extensions that degraded performance, caused instability, and delivered an inconsistent user experience. On top of that, key operations — inventory management, order processing, and payment processing — were still handled manually, creating bottlenecks that limited speed and scalability. Raya Shop needed a tech partner they could trust to rebuild the platform from the ground up and turn it into a conversion engine.
Robusta rebuilt the Raya Shop platform as a 100% native solution — removing the dependency on third-party extensions and creating a stable, fast foundation owned entirely by Raya Shop. The UX/UI was completely revamped to be visually appealing, simple, and intuitive, enabling customers to navigate easily and find what they need.
