Vodafone Ta3limy: 5M+ Users on Egypt's Underprivileged K-12 EdTech Platform

At its core, Vodafone Foundation strived to provide underprivileged communities with the education opportunities they deserved. In rural Egypt, students suffer from a poor education system but put up with it because it's all they know. These underprivileged communities are either unaware of online education or are unable to access the internet — let alone afford it — which is why they approached Robusta as their tech partner in 2018.

Robusta created an Ed-Tech platform for Vodafone Foundation, offering quality education and certifications to underprivileged K-12 students in Egypt. The platform expanded to include teachers and parents, facilitating communication and progress tracking. Incentives like badges and levels are incorporated for user engagement, ensuring students stay motivated throughout their learning journey.
