Befit 360
From Excel sheets and paper schedules to a fully digital ecosystem — Robusta unified 17 venues, 150 coaches, 58,000 members, and 190+ services into a single app with its own loyalty currency.
Befit 360 is an Egyptian health and fitness icon — 17 venues, 150 coaches, and 58,000 users built since 2013 around a mission to improve quality of life through fitness. But as the company grew, the cracks in its operational model became impossible to ignore. Receptionists were manually recording members' remaining classes. Payments were tracked in Excel spreadsheets. Members had to check the company website or social media to find out when their classes were. With more health clubs entering the market, Befit recognized that its traditional, pre-digital operations were no longer sustainable — and that digitizing wasn't optional, it was existential.
Robusta designed and built a comprehensive digital ecosystem centred on a fully customised Befit mobile app. The platform consolidated everything into one place: class schedules, personalised workout plans, progress tracking, new events, and integration with smartwatches and wearables. Robusta also introduced the Befit Points System — a universal in-app currency where users purchase points in bulk and use them for all transactions, dramatically simplifying pricing. An in-house loyalty programme was built on top to drive retention, rewarding members for continued engagement. Extensive market research, rigorous testing, and iterative enhancements across staging and production ensured the system was intuitive, bug-free, and built to scale.
Robusta began by conducting deep market research to understand the real challenges facing Befit 360 and its members — mapping the gap between what the manual, offline model could deliver and what a modern digital experience should look like.
The Befit app was built from the ground up with features for tracking class schedules, creating personalised workout plans, monitoring progress, discovering new events, and integrating with smartwatches and wearables — a single home for every aspect of a member's fitness journey.
Robusta introduced a Befit-native currency: users purchase points in bulk and use them for every purchase directly in the app. This unified pricing model removed confusion, reduced friction at the point of sale, and encouraged higher upfront commitment from members.
An integrated loyalty programme was designed to retain customers and motivate repeat engagement — rewarding members for consistency and offering dynamic incentives that kept the experience fresh rather than static.
Robusta conducted continuous testing across the app, currency system, and loyalty programme — iterating based on real user feedback to ensure every feature was intuitive, reliable, and genuinely useful to both members and Befit staff.
Befit 360's transformation is a case study in what happens when an operationally excellent offline business makes the leap to digital with the right partner. By replacing manual processes with a purpose-built app, a native currency, and a data-driven loyalty engine, Robusta gave Befit the infrastructure to scale without friction — and the analytics to keep improving the experience for every one of its 58,000 members.
