EgyptInnovate
A full strategic platform transformation for Egypt's national entrepreneurship gateway — delivered in 4 months for ITIDA, launched at GITEX, and built to connect startups, investors, and ecosystem partners at national scale.
EgyptInnovate required a complete platform transformation — executed under a hard cut-off deadline and covering a large, complex scope. The legacy platform had accumulated deep structural problems: an outdated user experience and information architecture that no longer reflected the ecosystem's needs, limited scalability that prevented the addition of new modules and services, and a fragmented content structure that made discovery difficult for users. RTG was brought in not just to redesign, but to rethink the platform from the ground up.
RTG treated the revamp as a strategic transformation initiative, not a redesign project. The team conducted ecosystem and stakeholder analysis to ground every decision in real user and partner needs. The platform was re-architected to be modular and scalable — with phased rollout planning (MVP → V2 → V3) built into the design from day one. The UX was redesigned for enhanced discoverability and engagement. Content taxonomy was restructured to support search, filtering, and AI readiness. Governance workflows were introduced to ensure long-term sustainability of the platform beyond the initial delivery. Built on Laravel and TanStack Start.
RTG began with deep analysis of Egypt's innovation ecosystem and structured consultation with ITIDA stakeholders — ensuring the platform architecture and content structure reflected real user journeys and national strategic goals, not assumptions.
The team designed a modular, scalable platform architecture capable of supporting phased rollouts from MVP through V2 and V3. This future-proof foundation was the most critical technical decision of the project — ensuring that the platform could grow with the ecosystem rather than requiring another full rebuild.
User-centric design aligned with ecosystem goals replaced the legacy interface. Improved accessibility, discoverability, and usability were prioritized — ensuring that startups, investors, corporates, and ecosystem partners could all find what they needed, quickly and intuitively.
The content structure was rebuilt from scratch to support robust search, filtering, and AI readiness. This enabled users to surface relevant knowledge, market updates, and development opportunities — and positioned the platform for intelligent features in future versions.
RTG delivered platform architecture walkthroughs, core module deep dives, admin and content management documentation, and future enhancement roadmaps — ensuring ITIDA's team could own, operate, and evolve the platform independently. Ongoing advisory support covered AI expansion and post-launch guidance.
EgyptInnovate demonstrates what national-scale digital transformation looks like when executed with strategic discipline. By treating the revamp as an ecosystem initiative — not just a website rebuild — RTG delivered a platform that is modular, AI-ready, and built to grow. The 4-month delivery and GITEX launch are milestones; the real outcome is a national entrepreneurship infrastructure that connects innovators, startups, investors, and corporates in one place — and can scale to match Egypt's ambitions.
