RTG joined Techne Summit as the official E-Commerce Track Partner for Egypt Innovation Week 2025 — curating the agenda, shaping the content, and bringing together the brightest voices in AI and e-commerce across Cairo and Alexandria.

This year, RTG joined forces with Techne Summit for Egypt Innovation Week 2025 as the official E-Commerce Track Partner. We weren't just participating — we were shaping the entire track: curating the content, designing the agenda, and bringing together the brightest voices in AI and e-commerce. Across two cities, RTG teams delivered panels, workshops, and fireside chats that tackled the topics defining the next era of retail.
Every session on the E-Commerce Track was anchored in the questions practitioners are wrestling with right now:
RTG's Islam Abdelraouf (COO/Co-Founder) moderated a powerhouse panel featuring Anas Talaat (InstaShop), Nevine El-Far (talabat), Hilda Louca (MITCHA), and Moustafa Hanafy (Hoods). The panel explored how generational shifts in consumer behaviour and the rise of AI technologies are reshaping e-commerce in Egypt and beyond. The big takeaway: AI isn't just changing what we buy — it's transforming how entire generations shop and redefining the customer journey.
Abdelrahman ElNaka, RTG's Product Director, showed how AI-powered semantic search is transforming e-commerce discovery — from synonyms to natural language queries. He also shared how RTG's own AI Search solution is already powering smarter results and faster conversions for leading retailers. Key insight: when your search understands meaning, not just words, you unlock higher conversions and happier customers.
Khaled Hesham Fathallah, Director of Artificial Intelligence at RTG, closed the Cairo day by exploring how AI shopping assistants are transforming e-commerce — from hyper-personalized experiences to higher conversions and stronger customer loyalty. He also introduced RTG's AI Agent, a SaaS product designed to boost conversions and streamline the ordering process. A powerful finale to a day packed with innovation and future-focused discussions.
Mohammed Fathy (RTG) and Gamal Thabet (e-finance) explored the fine line between personalization and privacy in a fireside chat, sharing strategies for harnessing AI responsibly without compromising user data. The takeaway: the future of e-commerce isn't just personal — it's trust-driven.
Mohamed Abdou moderated a powerful discussion with Amir Hassan, Waleed Abd El Rahman, and Manal Youssef on how brands can thrive by going direct. From strengthening customer relationships to leveraging AI-driven insights and building resilient digital strategies, the panel highlighted why the future of e-commerce belongs to brands that take ownership of their digital presence.
